30 Days of Me Day 6: My Favorite Superhero
A superhero doesn’t
Thanks for coming back for Day 6 of my 30 Days of Me blog series. I’m doing this series so that my followers can get to know a bit more about me, plus it’s kind of fun to dig into myself a little more. We often forget who are when we become moms or start college or work, or all of the above.
If you’re a blogger joining in and you’d like to take the 30 Days of Me challenge, just make your own 30 Days of Me graphic and write your first post. Make sure you link back to me on Day 1, so others know where you got the challenge, and leave me a comment with your post link so I can follow your journey also!
My Favorite Superhero
This was actually difficult. I considered having Aiden write this one for me, but it would’ve been two sentences. He definitely didn’t get my creative spark, haha. We are big superhero fans in our home, but we don’t generally stick to one.
We have Marvel & DC everywhere! There’s Captain America on Austin’s bed and Batman on Aiden’s. But if I had to pick just one, I would probably go with Batman. There’s just something about the tale of your average young boy (granted he was born rich) who spends his fortune and his life saving the lives of strangers. And he expects nothing in return.
What better hero story is there? I mean Batman wasn’t dropped on Earth from another planet, born with superhuman powers. He didn’t get bit by a spider and turn into a superhero with crazy, sci-fi powers. He’s just your normal guy who decided to spend his life worrying about giving back to the community.
I think that the entire story of Batman is encouraging for children and adults alike. This is why Batman is my favorite superhero. I wouldn’t even know much about superheroes though if it weren’t for me having two little boys who adore them.
I’ve done so much for their love of superheroes. Including crocheting them each their own superhero blankets!
Why do little boys love Batman?
I asked some mama’s to get their little boys input on why Batman is better, these are some of the responses I got.
Who is your favorite superhero? Is it Batman like us? Let me know!
